Personal Testimony | Share your story to tell about the Greatest Story ever told
If you are a follower of Jesu, you are intimately aware that God saved you from something and to something else. In Ministry Training, there is no doubt, that we want to equip you with what He is calling you to do. But as we began in session 1, we have to continually come back to the saving work of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives. Apart from Him, we can do NOTHING.*
In this assignment we are going to explore how the sharing of individual stories can be told in such a way that it magnifies the saving work of Jesus. We see this in the book of ACTS, where fishermen and former murders change the face of the earth, to the Calvary Chapel movement, and what the Lord is up to in Delco.
Assignment:
Reading:
Harvest by Chuck Smith Gang Members, drug addicts, mental patients, and society’s rejects… this is a snapshot of God’s amazing story through Calvary Chapel and the unlikely leaders God called to minister His Gospel. Coming from all walks of life, ten Calvary Chapel pastors share how God broke through the barriers of evil, pride, addiction, complacency, and anger to carry out His plan for this vital ministry.
